How we assess

Our panel scores every application using the Social Value Calculator. We look for:

  • Alignment to our mission — community benefit and resilience carry the heaviest weight.
  • Social value per £ — we use SROI to compare impact against the amount requested.
  • Breadth of impact — community cohesion, wellbeing, inclusion, and economic benefit.
  • Evidence you can deliver — a clear plan, timeline, and budget that match your proposed outcomes.
