Who We Are

Building UK veteran resilience through targeted grant funding

UK veterans are renowned for their ability to turn their hands to anything. They possess discipline, leadership, problem-solving skills, and an unwavering commitment to getting the job done. In times of crisis, veterans stand ready to serve again.

Veteran Force exists to unlock this potential. We provide grant funding to veterans, their families, and veteran organisations that are making a real difference — whether that's adding value to business, supporting the veteran community, or creating social value for the UK.

As part of the TheVeteran.UK family, we're committed to building a more resilient UK through the power of our veteran community.

What is Resilience?

Veteran Force defines resilience as the ability to adapt, recover, and create lasting strength — not just for oneself, but for others. It operates across three distinct layers, each vital to the UK's future.

Individual Resilience

Personal transformation and wellbeing during the transition from military to civilian life. Military service forges a unique resilience — the ability to operate under pressure, adapt to uncertainty, and keep going when others stop.

Local Resilience

Strengthening communities through veteran-led projects, mentoring, and local support networks. Veterans volunteer, mentor young people, run businesses, and organise support networks.

National Resilience

Strategic capabilities in cyber, logistics, healthcare, and engineering that underpin UK readiness. The veteran community represents a strategic reserve of skilled, disciplined individuals.
